Badin H.S. Multimedia Studies

Students enrolled in Multimedia Studies at Stephen T. Badin High School design and create original works that include photos, animation, digital video, graphics, sound and music.

Fundamental concepts of screen writing, film editing, cinematography and direction are studied. Project conception and planning, the solving of design challenges, and effective communication through media technology are emphasized throughout the year.

For Week of January 18

Wednesday/Thursday or Friday - Photoshop layers. We'll be working with a couple of example files.

Concepts covered - Layers, Selecting Layers, Layer Groups, Opacity. Creating, duplicating, and moving Layers. Merging layers.

Assignment - create a multi-layered graphic suitable for display on the Internet. Further instructions in class.
