Badin H.S. Multimedia Studies

Students enrolled in Multimedia Studies at Stephen T. Badin High School design and create original works that include photos, animation, digital video, graphics, sound and music.

Fundamental concepts of screen writing, film editing, cinematography and direction are studied. Project conception and planning, the solving of design challenges, and effective communication through media technology are emphasized throughout the year.

This week we'll continue our Copyright discussion. Here's a few links for information on the issues we'll address:

Wednesday In-Class - Answer the following questions with regard to the RIAA, MPAA, and the EFF:
  1. What are they? (not only what does they abbreviation mean, but who do they represent? Who are the members of the group?)
  2. What do they do? (what is their purpose? What are the aims and goals of the organization?)
  3. What is their position with regard to Copyright? What impact do they have in their chosen field?
  4. What are their arguments (for/against) their position on the issue of Copyright?
